ΑΕΠΠ ΒοήθημαThis Privacy Policy explains what data the app "ΑΕΠΠ Βοήθημα Πανελλήνιες" ("the App") collects, why, and what your rights are. The controller is Appalloo Apps, Greece, contact info@appalloo.com. The Greek version of this policy is the main version.
In short
- No account is needed. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Your progress, scores and saved items stay on your device.
- Only anonymous usage statistics, crash reports and technical logs are sent, to keep the App working and improve it.
- There are no ads, the advertising ID is not used, and we never sell data.
1. Data that stays on your device
- Progress & scores: your progress through the chapters, your quiz mistakes, your final-exam statistics and the cards or code snippets you save are stored locally on your device. They are not sent to us.
- Widgets: the question of the day, the exam countdown and «Η ζωή σε ΓΛΩΣΣΑ» are created on your device from the App's content.
- Settings: choices such as the light or dark theme.
2. Data sent off your device
The following is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) to services that work on our behalf. It does not include your name or contact details.
- Usage statistics (Google Firebase Analytics): which screens are opened and key in-app events, app version, device model, Android version, approximate country and a random installation identifier. Advertising-ID collection and ad personalization are turned off. We use this data only to understand how the App is used and to improve it.
- Crash reports (Google Firebase Crashlytics): when the App crashes, a technical report is sent (error trace, device model, Android and app version, random installation identifier) so we can find and fix the problem.
- Technical logs (Loggly by SolarWinds): the App's event and error messages, used to diagnose problems, for example with the subscription.
- Premium subscription (Google Play Billing): purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. The App receives only your subscription status from Google. We never see or store card or payment details.
Like any internet connection, these reveal your device's IP address to the service receiving them. We do not use IP addresses to identify you.
3. When you contact us
If you email us (from the App or directly), we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use them only to reply to you. We do not add you to mailing lists and we do not share your message with anyone.
4. Why we collect it (legal basis)
- Crash reports and logs are used only to find and fix bugs (legitimate interest in a stable App).
- Usage statistics are used to improve the App (legitimate interest).
- Your subscription status is used to unlock the content you bought (performance of contract).
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell, rent or trade data. The only third parties involved process data on our behalf:
- Google (Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics, Google Play) — Google Privacy Policy

6. How long data is kept
- Your local progress is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data in your device settings.
- Usage statistics, crash reports and logs are kept for a limited period, according to each provider's retention settings, and then deleted automatically.
- Support emails are kept as long as needed to help you, and deleted sooner if you ask.
7. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct and delete your data and to object to its processing. Statistics, crash reports and logs are not linked to your name or email, so we may not be able to match them to you, but we will help where we can. For any request, email info@appalloo.com. You may also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
8. Minors
The App is aimed at high-school students preparing for the Panhellenic exams and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
Connections to third-party services use HTTPS. The App's educational content is encrypted inside the installation package. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
